Dual Protocol: How does it work?

Thanks to the Powergate3+ Dual Protocol function you can offer your customers the ECU and TCU remapping through a single device. Only one operation allows to Powergate3+ to read and write the ECU and TCU data: a real double remapping in one fell swoop!

This update is only intended for Powergate3+ not initialized yet and that, when activated, include the preloaded files (original and modified) thanks to the DATABASE DIFFERENCE function (DBDIFF).

Database Difference (DBDIFF)

This update is only intended for Powergate3+ not initialized yet and that, when activated, include the preloaded files (original and modified) thanks to the DATABASE DIFFERENCE function (DBDIFF).

DBdiff – or Database Difference – is a model created by the Alientech developer, capable of performing an automatic association between ID, original file, and differences with the various modified files.

A transparent operation to the vehicle owner eyes, that allows to exponentially increase the number of the available modified files.

The tuner can create a lot of different databases according to the customers’ needs, without limits of space! Once uploaded the database on Powergate3+ User, the customer is sure to find immediately the corrected original and modified files already associated. Everything he needs is already in his possession and he does not have to worry about anything anymore, he will have in his hands a mapping Powergate3+.

Would you like an example to understand this update potentialities?

Your customer has an Audi A3 1.6 TDI. You, tuner, before sending the tool with the files to your customers, create a template where you load original and modified files relating to the ECU and TCU, correctly matched. You have no space or combinations limits.

Once this operation is done, you send the preloaded Powergate3+ to your customer.

The owner connects Powergate3+ to the vehicle through the OBD port and it does the ID.

Automatically, the original file of the compatible ECU and TCU is identified.
