The restyling of the fifth generation pickup L200, launched in 2019 with a new Diesel engine 4N14 2.2 and equipped with a Denso 275722-4810 ECU, is added to the large list of pickups compatible with K-TAG.
This last Denso ECU is driven by a new microprocessor Renesas SH72546 and so the activation of the communication protocol is included in the JTAG RENESAS of K-TAG: the customers who have an active subscription and activation will receive it automatically with the new update.
The connection between the ECU and K-TAG takes place through JTAG line and the functions of this protocol are reading, writing and cloning.
To clone the ECU means to rise the security level and the solutions to be suggested to the vehicle owner, particularly on a pickup used for work, for movement or for extreme duties.
The number of supported ECUS is quite vast and this is the only way you will get back to focus on the repairing, a trend newly in increase.
