All cars are equipped with 1.5DCi engines in 105hp and 110hp power levels.
This is a historic engine for the Renault group.
Produced since early 2000s, it equipped the second series of the Renault Clio and was available in two versions: 65HP and 80HP.
The engine was derived from the K series petrol engines, with which it shared the block and the crankcase, with appropriate modifications the bore was reduced from 79.5mm to 76mm, thus bringing the displacement to 1461cm3.
Another aspect, but no less important, is the adoption of a Common Rail injection system, specific injectors and KKK turbocharger.
Over the years this engine has been proposed in different versions, starting from the 65hp of the first version to the 115hp of the latest DCi Energy engines (with braking energy recovery and Start & Stop) or BlueDCi (with AdBlue system), passing from turbochargers. fixed geometry to variable geometry ones, improving performance and engine response.
